Teaser episode up!

Hi all! I’ve recorded a brief teaser for the podcast, which you should now be able to find (and subscribe to! and rate! and tell friends about!) in Apple Podcasts, Spotify, etc. Here is a link to the podcast in Apple and here it is via Spotify.

Just three and a half minutes of your time, but hopefully you’ll get a better sense there of what to expect once the podcast gets going. I talk in the teaser about wanting the feeling of closeness that comes from attending to something like a poem with someone who happens to be far away, and it occurred to me that I have been trying to describe versions of this feeling in my writing for the past couple years. This piece, for instance, where I begin by talking about wanting to be very close to someone while looking with them at something far away, or this piece, also in The Point, where I wrote about the rooms that poems make.
